Intenta is built around a simple principle: the screenshots you share with the app should stay on your device.
1. Who is responsible
Intenta is provided by:
Eris Shala — Growlio
Dechant-Averdam-Str. 12A
49377 Vechta
Germany
Email: info@growlio.dev
2. What Intenta does
Intenta turns screenshots, mainly of chats, into calendar events that you check and confirm. You can share a screenshot from the iOS Share Sheet or pick one inside the app.
Intenta does not require an account or login.
3. Screenshot processing
Screenshots you share with Intenta, or pick inside the app, are processed entirely on your device. Intenta has no server connection: screenshots are not uploaded to Growlio or anyone else. A screenshot is kept only while Intenta reads it and is deleted when the flow ends.
Intenta receives only the image you choose, through the iOS Share Sheet or the system photo picker. It does not request access to your photo library.
4. On-device language model
On devices where Apple's on-device language model is available, Intenta uses it to understand the text of a screenshot. It runs on your iPhone; no text is sent to a cloud service. Every suggestion is checked by the app and shown to you before anything is added. Without the model, Intenta uses built-in rules on your device.
5. Data collection, tracking and advertising
Intenta does not collect any personal data. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools and no third-party services, and it does not sell personal data.
Intenta stores the following on your device only:
- A history of events you added: title, date and time, place, and whether you used Apple's editor or quick add. The history contains no screenshot or chat text.
- Items you choose to "Save for later", including the text read from the screenshot, for up to 24 hours.
You can delete all of it at any time in Intenta: Settings → Privacy → Delete all Intenta data. It is also removed when you delete the app. It can be included in your own device backup.
6. Calendar access
By default, Intenta opens Apple's event editor, which needs no calendar permission; you add the event there yourself.
If you choose to add an event directly, Intenta asks for write-only calendar permission. This permission is used only to create the event you confirm. Intenta cannot read your existing calendar events. You can manage calendar permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Events you add belong to your calendar and are synced by your own calendar account (for example iCloud or Google), not by Intenta.
7. Support communications
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address and message content. We use that information only to respond to your request and handle related support communication.
Where the GDPR applies, this processing is based on the steps necessary to respond to your request and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in providing support.
8. Your rights
Where applicable under data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as rights to object to processing and to data portability.
To exercise a privacy right or ask a question, contact us at the email address in section 1.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority. For Growlio in Germany, the relevant supervisory authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen.
9. This privacy-policy webpage
This page is hosted on growlio.dev. Information about data processing when visiting the Growlio website, including hosting and website analytics, is available in the Growlio website privacy policy. It applies to the website only, not to the Intenta app.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Intenta changes or when legal requirements change. The current version will always be published at this URL.
